Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji
Greetings of the day...
Sir, this is in regard to current and re-occurring flood
problems across the country which is specially faced by people of Assam, Bihar
and eastern UP. Every year millions of people are displaced and are left broken
and hopeless after the floods affects their life. So is the situation today.
As an Indian, I feel very sad to observe that no actions
seems to have been taken by any government in last 3-4 decades for resolution
for such a big problem as post floods, the area is subjected to epidemics and
other health issues.
I do not have much knowledge for suggesting the short term
and long term solution to the problem, however across India river connectivity
project once initiated by honorable ex PM of India Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayi Ji
had a promising solution to this problem and I believe this solution was backed
by honorable ex President of India Shri. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Ji.
It took a common sense for me to understand that if all the
rivers are connected across the country then a scarcity of water in a area can
be compensated with waters from flooded area and in turn it will also mitigate
the problems faced by people living near flooded areas, at least they would not
be affected so very badly.
As I understood, India is diverse country and different
political parties and regions have different opinion on water sharing issue
like this, it was then difficult to undertake this project quite aggressively.
But now when most the states in northern, central, western and some in eastern
India are ruled by BJP governments and BJP government at the center, this
project should be re initiated aggressively for good of the people and my
country.
It takes lot of courage and planning to initiate projects
like these but I see Shri. Modiji, you are the only one who can bring this
project alive just like GST, Ujjawala Yojna, Banking for All, Demonitization
etc..
I am writing this letter asking help for sake of my country
and countrymen and wants to hold this government high in my regard which I have
been doing from last 3 years.
Sir, request you to please take this issue at top priority
as millions of people get affected due this reason.
With all regards and respect to the Government of India and
honorable Prime Minister of India, looking forward to a solution to this problem
very soon.
